SOUL is the brainchild of a dedicated group of
Yemeni professionals who recognized the need to assist the women and
children of Yemen, in the health, education and social development fields.
The Society was officially established in February 1997 and is licensed
and operating in the Republic of Yemen.
Our headquarters is located in Sana’a, the capital city. We are a professional, non-profit, non-governmental
organization, and work within the laws, policies and guidelines of the
government and the international donor community. We are totally independent with no affiliation to any
political, religious, or other organization. SOUL has commissioned a
Constitution to guide the direction of the Society, as well as a complete
Manual of Operation, which assists in governing daily execution of
business. |
